2025 Hero Super Splendor Xtec Launched
Hero MotoCorp has rolled out the 2025 Super Splendor XTEC in India, pricing it at Rs 88,128 for the drum brake version, while the disc brake variant comes in at Rs 92,028. This latest update ensures the bike meets the upcoming OBD-2B emission standards. Compared to the older, non-OBD-2B compliant models, both variants are pricier by Rs. 2,000. The updates have mainly been done to the engine to make it adhere to the latest emission guidelines. Apart from that, there are no new updates.
As for its feature set, it continues to offer a digital instrument cluster that reads essential ride-related stats, and to sweeten it further, offers a USB-Charger, side-stand engine cut-off, i3s tech, LED headlamp, and Bluetooth connectivity, making it a fairly loaded commuter bike in its class.

Engine Details
Powering the motorcycle is a 124.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 10.72 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm, which is now OBD-2B compliant, which is the main purpose of this update. This is in line with all the 2W models currently being updated across manufacturers as per the latest emission norms.

Currently, the motorcycle segment is undergoing changes as per the latest emission norms and the Super Splendor Xtec is yet another model to adhere to regulations. Hero has already updated its other models like the Splendor Plus, Glamour, and others. Hero Motocorp is one of the biggest player in the commuter segment and while it has quite a repuation of being a no-hassle brand, the higher fuel economy is yet another big factor that plays in its favour.
