2025 Keeway RR300 Launched; Details

The Keeway RR300 does not look any different from the outgoing K 300R, retaining the familiar, compact sportsbike design, but with a more rounded finish rather than featuring sharp edges. The twin headlamps also continue to be flanked by half oval DRLs, the underbelly exhaust pipe has also been retained, and the tail section continues to be compact just like before. Even the three new paint schemes have been carried over; black, blue and red.
Things haven't changed much under the familiar design either. The RR300 carries on with the same 292.4cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, producing 26.8bhp at 8750rpm and 25Nm of torque at 7000rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

The bike also continues to use 37mm USD forks and a monoshock at the rear, along with a 292mm disc with four-piston callipers and a 220mm disc with a single-piston calliper, and 17-inch wheels on both ends. The seat height remains at 780mm, and at 165kg the bike is immensely lightweight, which should make it fairly agile.

In terms of features, the RR300 comes with a basic LCD screen, two ride modes, dual-channel ABS, and a slipper clutch. There are no connectivity bits to speak of, and in terms of rivals, it goes up squarely against the TVS Apache RR310, given how close they are in terms of power and specifications.

Verdict
The RR300 is certainly a promising motorcycle if you're looking for a sportsbike in the sub-300cc category under Rs 2 lakh. However, Keeway's limited service network and the lack of connectivity features might detract buyers, even if the price tag makes it super accessible.
