2025 Suzuki Hayabusa

This legendary motorcycle swept away Indians in 2004 because of a Hindi thief/cop chase movie, where the main antagonist's primary motorcycle is a Hayabusa in a red and black shade. This made the whole country go la-la over it and made it their dream bike. That said, over the years, it has created a legendary image of itself and once was also termed as the fastest production motorcycle in the world. Now, its third generation has received the 2025 update, making it OBD-2B compliant, but it doesn't hinder its power figures. Still, the 1,340 cc in-line 4-cylinder fuel-injected, liquid-cooled DOHC engine makes 190 bhp and 142 Nm of torque. It has a 6-speed transmission and weighs 266 kg.

The exhaust note is tuned to provide a powerful roar at ignition without disturbing the rider. Moreover, Suzuki Ram Air Direct (SRAD) ducts that boost performance in a linear manner as the road speed increases and Twin Swirl Combustion Chamber (TSCC) promotes faster and more efficient burning of the fuel-air mixture. The motorcycle comes equipped with KYB inverted front forks, BATTLAX HYPERSPORTS 22 Inch tyres, and Brembo Stylema 4-piston front brake calipers, all engineered to enhance riding control and comfort.

With advanced electronics like the Power Mode Selector, Launch Control System, Bi-directional Quick Shift System, Cruise Control, and Motion Track Traction Control (TC), Hayabusa offers a customizable and confidence-inspiring ride. Additional rider-friendly features include Suzuki Easy Start System, Low RPM Assist, LED lighting, and various control systems for braking, stability, and traction.

Lastly, three new dual tone colours are introduced - Metallic Mat Steel Green/Glass Sparkle Black, Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Mat Titanium Silver and Metallic Mystic Silver/Pearl Vigor Blue.

Verdict

Hayabusa, a legend of a motorcycle, has become even more handsome with this 2025 MY update, and personally, the new metallic green enhances its machismo factor. This is one rare species of superbikes that is so popular, even older people recognize it - and that's because of the Hindi movie. Now, which colour is most chosen by customers, that we'll see.
