Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles is gearing up to refresh its portfolio with two significant updates, the new-gen Yezdi Scrambler and Yezdi Roadster. Updated Yezdi Scrambler And Roadster: What To Expect?

Both the updated motorcycles will retain their retro-inspired styling but introduce subtle changes to differentiate them from their predecessors. The Roadster, based on recent test mules, appears to adopt a revised rear section featuring a chopped fender, tyre-hugger-mounted taillight, and LED indicators that double as taillights, a design cue seen on the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The Yezdi Scrambler, on the other hand, now sports a single-side exhaust layout instead of the older dual high-mount pipes, along with higher-set rear panels and, likely, new alloy wheels in place of spokes. These changes aim to enhance practicality without losing the rugged character these bikes are known for.

While exact specifications remain under wraps, feature additions are likely to mirror the updated Adventure's list. This includes traction control, selectable ABS modes, and possibly new projector headlamps for improved illumination. The switchgear and semi-digital instrument cluster are expected to remain largely unchanged, though new paint schemes and accessory options will help personalise both bikes.

Engine And More

Both motorcycles are expected to transition to Yezdi's Gen 2 Alpha platform, which underpins the latest Adventure model. Power will come from the familiar 334cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, tuned differently for each bike's intended character. On the Adventure, this engine produces 29.6 bhp and 29.9 Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox, and similar figures are anticipated here with possible revisions for better tractability or top-end punch.
