Ashok Leyland Join Hands With Syncron For Better Adoption of IoT

Ashok Leyland, Indias second-largest trucks and bus manufacturer has partnered with Syncron, a privately held provider in intelligent SaaS (Software as a service) solutions provider. Syncron will integrate an anomaly detection model into Ashok Leyland Condition Monitoring Systems (CMS) as part of the partnership, resulting in a highly effective, completely connected vehicle solution that could fuse predictive analytics with more accurate and relevant prediction processing to improve product reliability.

Ashok Leyland's completely integrated manufacturing footprint spans 50 nations and is driven by a relentless pursuit of efficiency, cost management, quality, reliability, and innovation - all of which are characteristics that Syncron's solutions address.

Syncron's extensive experience in the automotive, service, and parts industries, combined with Ashok Leyland's advanced machine learning models and sensor data, led the two companies to collaborate on the development of an industrial IoT-enabled predictive maintenance solution for the manufacturer's large fleet of vehicles. With the help of Syncrons additional features for Syncron Uptime in support of the agreement, manufacturers can take a proactive "respond before failure" strategy by predicting and correcting issues before they cause downtime. Additionally, Syncron Uptime now offers a personalised recommendation for issue resolution by domain experts, in addition to accumulating and analysing data.

Virtual Sensor Framework, Data Validation, Aggregation Algorithm, Rule-Based Data Filter, and Prediction Windows are some of the other aspects that the Ashok Leyland and Syncron cooperation will focus on.
