Bajaj-Triumph unveiled their first vehicle, the Speed 400 & Scrambler 400X, in India. The Speed 400 is launched at the starting price of Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand has also offered an inaugural discount of Rs 10,000 for the first 10,000 customers a special rate of Rs. 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for both the motorcycles eventually surpassed the amazing milestone of 10,000 units in just 10 days after the global reveal, which took place in the UK on June 27, 2023.

Triumph Speed 400
The Speed 400 sports an eye-catching roadster look, highlighted by its single-seat configuration, USD front forks, and aluminum exhaust. The bike has stylish bar-end mirrors and runs on alloy 17-inch wheels. It has a switchable traction control system, an adjustable mono-shock in the back, and a semi-digital instrument cluster to improve comfort and convenience. Carnival Red, Caspian Blue, and Phantom Black are the three enticing color options for the Speed 400.
A 398.15cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine powers the Speed 400. It generates an outstanding 39.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and peaks at 37.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm in terms of maximum power output. This engine's power is efficiently transferred through a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper-assist clutch, allowing for fluid gear changes and improving the entire riding experience.
