Ducati To Unveil 3 New Bikes Including Panigale SP2 And V4 R By March 2022

Ducati is all set to reveal three more new 2022 models, two of which will be the addition to the high-spec versions of the Ducati Panigale V4  a redesigned V4 R and an SP2 to follow up last year's V4 SP. The Panigale series is one of Ducatis most famous sports bike series globally. Lets have a look at what these upcoming bikes have to offer.

Ducati Panigale V4 SP2

The engine modifications and other tweaks that have already been performed to this year's standard Panigale V4 will be carried over to the next Ducati Panigale V4 SP2. It will have the identical engine upgrades as the standard bike, with a performance boost from 214 to 215.5 horsepower. The 1,103cc V4 engine's torque, on the other hand, remains unchanged at 124Nm. It will also have the same engine electronics upgrades as the 2022 Panigale V4, including new throttle map settings and improved gear ratios. It weighs 194kg wet, which is the same as the original SP and 1kg less than the V4 S on which it is based and shares parts like the Ohlins Smart EC electrically adjustable suspension.

Also, the bike will be available in a matt black and red paint scheme, with a milled alloy top yoke, brushed alloy fuel tank, carbon fibre wheels, and Brembo Stylema R brakes, similar to the previous SP model. Rizoma pegs, carbon winglets and front mudguard, a single-seat tail unit, and a dry clutch are among the other features shared with its predecessor.

Ducati Panigale V4 R

The Panigale V4R is likely to feature an upgraded version of the 998cc V4 engine from the previous generation, which is the basis for Ducati's WSB race bikes. Considering the advancement of aerodynamic efficiency, it is likely to see significant changes to the fairing and winglets to improve performance and handling, as well as upgrades to the mechanical parts  in part to add extra capability in race-tuned form, but also to meet Euro5 emissions restrictions for the road-going version.
