Royal Enfield Scram 411 has to be one of the most awaited two-wheeler launches of this year. As we all know that Royal Enfield is on an expansion spree and the new scrambler motorcycle will be one of the new offerings from the cult motorcycle maker.

Been waiting for months, now the audience and potential buyers can relax as the company has announced the launch date to be upcoming 7th March 2022. A recent teaser has been released with a mixed sand & dirt background displaying the context of off-road with the official reveal date written as 7th March.

As we've already showcased to you the upcoming colours of the Scram 411 which has already started reaching dealerships pan India; the launch of this upcoming scrambler will make way for more options in the segment. For now what we do know about the Scram are the design, engine, gearbox, specifications, and the expected price range.

Scram 411 Design

As the new upcoming motorcycle is a scrambler, the design is a mixture of tourer and adventure motorcycles. Based on the adventure motorcycle Himalayan, the Scram 411 shall exclude some design elements from the Himalayan such as the windshield, smaller front tyre, different riders triangle, etc.

As seen in the spy shots, Scram 411 is expected to use a retro-shaped headlight cowl rather than a long vertical windscreen like the Himalayan. Also, the Himalayan uses a 21-inch front wheel for dedicated off-road control whilst the Scram 411 uses a 19-inch front wheel making it a proper scrambler in terms of functionality as well as looks.

Scram 411 Engine & Specifications

As the sources over the internet have suggested, the Scram 411 is expected to use the same 410cc, single-cylinder, oil-air cooled engine from the Himalayan. This engine is known for its low-end torque response and practicality.

Churning out 24.3 Bhp of peak power and 32 Nm of peak torque, Scram 411 engine will use a 5-speed constant-mesh gearbox mated to chain drive for delivering the power to the rear wheel. We expect that Royal Enfield might retune the gear ratios according to the changing dynamics due to the new design and riding posture.

Apart from this, a semi-digital speedometer fitted with tripper navigation for turn-by-turn navigation, dual-channel ABS shall be standard features for Scram 411.

Royal Enfield Scram 411 Price & Rivals

Destined to make its first official appearance on 7th March 2022, Scram 411 is expected to be launched somewhere around Rs 2-2.2 Lakhs. Known for providing customization options, we anticipate that Royal Enfield shall present a variety of accessories as options with the launch of Scram 411.
