Harley-Davidson India has unveiled the booking figures for its most affordable motorcycle, the Harley Davidson X440. In its inaugural month of availability, the X440 attracted a considerable 25,597 buyers for the entry-level cruiser, initially priced at Rs. 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Although the company subsequently adjusted the pricing by Rs. 10,500, the X440 remains an appealing choice with its revised starting price of Rs. 2,39,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Deliveries are set to begin from October 2023.

Harley Davidson X440 Crosses 25,000 Bookings
Since the commencement of booking on July 4th, the bike is getting a lot of attentive eyes. And not just eyes, confirm bookings are crossing the 25000 mark already in just around a month. While this is positive news for the brand, the fact that it is clashing with the Triumph Speed 400, the numbers hint at a tough heat between the two. Meanwhile, Triumph Speed 400 registered 10,000 bookings in just 10 days, at a similar introductory retail tag of Rs. 2.23 lakhs, only to get an increase of Rs. 10,000 over time.
Interestingly, 65% of the bookings are coming in for the top-end S variant. The bookings for now have been closed, and the brand will soon intimate you of the schedule for the next one.

Harley Davidson X440: Powertrain And Variants
The Harley-Davidson X440 offers a range of variants to cater to different preferences and budgets. The Denim variant stands out as the most affordable option, featuring wire-spoke wheels that add a classic touch to its design. On the other hand, the mid-spec Vivid variant offers a step-up with alloy wheels and a dual-tone finish, adding a touch of sophistication and style.
The range-topping S model of the Harley-Davidson X440 offers premium features such as diamond-cut alloy wheels, full connectivity via the Harley Davidson app, 3D logos, and turn-by-turn navigation through the Bluetooth module.
Talking about the pricing, the Denim variant retails at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 2,39,500, whereas the Vivid and S trims cost Rs. 2,59,500 and Rs. 2,79,500 (all ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.

Since the spy shots emerged, the X440 has managed to attract a wide range of audience.
