A Sportier and More Dynamic Silhouette

The X440T takes the original X440's roadster stance and injects a more aggressive character into it. Harley has reimagined the rear profile with a sleeker tail section, which merges into an extended seat that promises improved pillion comfort. The updated bodywork gives the motorcycle a visually stretched, more muscular presence compared to the classic-inspired X440.
A new rear fender design, a tidier tail-lamp integration, and revised body panels further differentiate the X440T from its sibling. Harley has also swapped the standard mirrors for premium bar-end units, elevating the bike's overall sporty intent.
Fresh Colours, Sharper Details

Harley-Davidson has introduced multiple new colourways on the X440T, each paired with updated graphics to enhance its youthful appeal. Bronze-finished elements around the engine, a redesigned exhaust heat shield, and subtle cosmetic refinements collectively give the motorcycle a more upscale look.
One noteworthy detail is the absence of the base model's visibly routed throttle cable. While Harley hasn't confirmed changes yet, this opens speculation about a possible transition to ride-by-wire, which could unlock additional electronic features in future variants.
Mechanical Package Remains Familiar

Underneath the refreshed styling, the X440T continues to use the tried-and-tested setup from the standard X440. This includes:
440cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine
- 27 bhp and 38 Nm
- Paired with a 6-speed gearbox
Underlying chassis and suspension:
- USD front forks
- Twin rear shock absorbers
- Disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS
Wheel setup
- 18-inch front
- 17-inch rear alloy wheels
Harley hasn't revealed any weight differences yet, but the redesigned rear section and minimal bodywork tweaks could translate to a marginally lighter motorcycle.
Positioning & Expectations

With its premium design upgrades, the X440T naturally positions itself as a step above the standard X440. At Rs. 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), Harley-Davidson is clearly targeting buyers who appreciate the X440 platform but want a more modern, style-forward interpretation.

The motorcycle will go on sale soon, and given the growing demand in the 350-500cc segment, the X440T is expected to play a key role in sustaining momentum for Harley-Davidson's most accessible product line in India.
