Hero Centennial Edition Revealed, Here Are The Top Highlights To Know

Hero Motocorp has showcased its special Karizma CE001 at the 2024 Hero World event. Now a few months after the showcase, the brand has given the special edition motorcycle a name. The special edition motorcycle based on the Karizma XMR 210 will be called the Centennial. The Hero Centennial will be available in 100 units only and will be sold via auction. Hero Centennial Edition - What Is It?

Hero MotoCorp has created a tribute motorcycle to honor the 101st birth anniversary of Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal, the Chairman Emeritus of Hero MotoCorp. This motorcycle will be available in 100 units only and will be sold via auction to make it a collector's item. It will be sold via auction to Hero Motocorp's stakeholders, employees, business partners, and associates. Moreover, the amount of the sale of this motorcycle will be used for social causes.

Hero Centennial Edition - What's Different?

The Centennial Edition is based on the new Karizma XMR 210 motorcycle. It shares the same engine and chassis. The brand has added some premium parts to the special edition to make it different from the stock Karizma XMR. It boasts a half-fairing design and gets carbon fiber body panels. It is fitted with a hydroformed single tube handlebar, machined and anodized footpegs, handlebar mount, and milled aluminum swing arm. It boasts a similar headlamp design as the Karizma. It gets a single rider seat and carbon fibre rear seat cowl.

Hero Centennial Edition - Hardware

The limited edition comes with 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, 43mm USD forks with compression and rebound adjustability, Wilbers gas-charged mono-shock absorber with adjustment, and front and rear disc brakes. It also gets a full-system carbon fibre and titanium-made Akrapovic exhaust system. Due to the addition of light weight carbon fibre parts the Centennial edition is 5.5 kg lighter than the stock Karizma XMR 210.

Hero Centennial Edition - Engine

It is powered by the same 210 cc, liquid-cooled engine. On the stock Karizma XMR 210, this engine produces 25 bhp of power and 20 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. We anticipate the Centennial edition to boast enhanced power and torque figures to suit the characteristics of the motorcycle.
