Hero MotoCorp has wrapped up the booking phase for its highly anticipated Hero Karizma XMR. With an impressive 13,688 bookings in the bag, the company is gearing up to roll out deliveries during the festive season, beginning on October 15th with the onset of Navratri. Excitement is building as the first shipments of this flagship motorcycle have already hit the road.
Hero Karizma XMR 210 Bookings Halted
The initial window for booking the Karizma XMR ran from August 29 to September 30, offering the bike at an introductory price of Rs. 1,72,900. However, on October 1, the price saw an increase of Rs. 7,000, bringing the total to Rs. 1,79,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). While Hero MotoCorp has confirmed that a new booking phase is on the horizon, they have yet to specify the exact date for its commencement.

Meanwhile, the deliveries are set to kick off from the festive occasions of Navratri, on October 15.
Features
In terms of features, it is pretty enticing as well. It gets a first in segment Adjustable Windscreen. It now comes with a fully digital instrument console with a range of information like a speedometer and tachometer. On top of this, theres a gear indicator while the left and right edges have bars for temperature and fuel level, respectively. On top of this, it gets Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, a segment first. The LED headlamp comes with an intelligent illumination feature, which is yet another segment-first.
Powertrain
The heart of the Karizma XMR beats to the rhythm of a new 210cc liquid-cooled engine, churning out an impressive 25.15bhp and a peak torque of 20.4Nm. To ensure smooth gear transitions and improved performance, it's equipped with a six-speed gearbox complemented by a slipper clutch. The bike's robust structure relies on a sturdy trellis frame, and it glides on 17-inch wheels, boasting the comfort of telescopic forks in the front and a monoshock in the rear.
