Hyundai Creta EV: Three New Variants Introduced

The newly launched trims are:

  • Creta Electric Excellence (42 kWh)
  • Creta Electric Executive Tech (42 kWh)
  • Creta Electric Executive (O) (51.4 kWh)

The smaller 42 kWh battery pack of the Hyundai Creta EV delivers a certified range of 420 km, while the larger 51.4 kWh pack offers up to 510 km, both tested under AIS 040 (Rev.1) standards. Prices for the updated lineup now start at Rs. 18.02 lakh and go up to Rs. 24.39 lakh (ex-showroom) for the fully-loaded Excellence (HC) variant. The Excellence variant sits higher up the feature list, bringing in advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS Level 2 with 20 functions), a surround-view and blind-spot monitor, front parking sensors, ventilated front seats, and a rear wireless charger. It also gets practical touches like foldable rear tables with device holders, rain-sensing wipers, and powered driver and passenger seats with memory and welcome-retract functions.

The Executive Tech trim democratizes premium features at a more accessible price point. Key highlights include a voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, eco-friendly leatherette upholstery, and rear window sunshades. This makes it an appealing choice for customers seeking comfort and tech without stretching too far on budget.For buyers looking for max. range, the Executive (O) variant with the 51.4 kWh battery stands out.

Alongside its longer driving range of 510 km, it also adds upmarket features such as a voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, enhancing its premium positioning while still being competitively priced at Rs. 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which is also the most affordable when you get into the bigger battery pack options.

Standard & New Features Across the Range

All Creta Electric trims now get wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay via a wired-to-wireless adapter as standard. Higher trims further gain a dashcam and rear wireless charger, while eco-conscious customers will appreciate the use of bio-leather and recycled PET fabric upholstery. To complement the refreshed lineup, Hyundai has also introduced two new colour options, Matte Black and Shadow Grey.
