Hyundai has finally taken the wraps off the pricing of the Tucson Facelift. Unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo in February, it was expected to go on sale in March but it was postponed thanks to COVID. Now the Hyundai Tucson Facelift has finally been launched and the prices start from Rs 22.30 lakh. Hyundai Tucson Facelift is launched in petrol automatic and diesel automatic trims whereas AWD is reserved for top-end GLS diesel trim.
How does it look on the Outside

Hyundai Tucson facelift isn't changed much on the outside when compared to the car it replaces. The front gets a bigger interpretation of the Hyundai's signature cascading grille which is flanked with LED headlights. The LED DRLs are combined in the headlights but we also get L-shaped DRLs in the fog lamp housing as well. Moving to the side, we get to see new dual-tone alloy wheels which are sharper than before. The rear gets full LED taillights and repositioned reflectors. The dual exhaust pipes add to the sporty factor of the SUV.

What Has Changed on the Inside

The major improvements made lies inside the new Hyundai Tucson facelift. The centre of the dashboard gets a free-standing 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluelink, Android Auto and Apple Car Play. The dashboard now gets soft-touch materials to give it a premium appeal. But unlike its smaller sibling Creta and Verna, the Tucson misses out on digital driver's display. The Tucson comes feature-packed with electrically adjustable front seats, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, dual-zone climate control and other features.
What Engines Will it Carry

Hyundai Tucson Facelift will carry two engine options - 2.0-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel. The 2.0-litre petrol is the same we saw in the Elantra and it produces 152bhp and 192 Nm of torque. The 2.0-litre diesel engine produces 184bhp and 400 Nm of torque. Hyundai has ditched the manual gearbox for this time around and plonked 6-speed AT with the petrol whereas the diesel gets all-new 8-speed automatic gearbox. All the trims come with Front Wheel Drive (FWD) and only the top-end GLS diesel is reserved with All Wheel Drive (AWD) setup.
