
Jawa Motorcycles is an Iconic nameplate in the Indian Motoring History. Jawa made a comeback in India in the year 2018. The brand has a very strong cult status and fan-following in the country. Jawa is now owned by Classic Legends (a subsidiary of Mahindra Group). Currently, the company sells three motorcycles in India: Jawa Classic, Jawa Forty-Two and the new Jawa Perak. The company is also trying to gradually expand its footprint across the country. Now, Jawa Motorcycles has launched new Roadside Assistance Facility for its Bikes in India.

Jawa has introduced Roadside Assistance Facility for its motorcycles in India to enhance the after-sales experience. This Roadside Assistance service will offer complete peace of mind and hassle-free ownership experience to the Jawa buyers. This is a fully-loaded RSA service and will have a widespread network. This facility will be available in 950 cities across the country. The customers can ask for roadside assistance by calling a toll free contact number that will be operational 24x7 throughout the year.

This Roadside Assistance Service has been priced at Rs. 1,050 per year and is available for all Jawa Motorcycles. The services include towing facility which will be free of charge for 100 kilometres from the location of the breakdown. It also includes Roadside Repair, Fuel Assistance and Lost key Retrieval Services. The service also includes safe towing and urgent message relay in case of motorcycle immobilization. Jawa's new Roadside Assistance Facility will provide medical coordination too. Some other services include fixing a dead battery, minor repairs and fixing flat tyres.

Jawa's Indian Portfolio include the Jawa Classic, Jawa Forty-Two and the Jawa Perak. The Classic and the Forty-Two are powered by a BS6-compliant 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 26.51 PS of power and 27.05 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Perak gets a bigger 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 30.64 PS of power and 32.74 Nm of torque. It also comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and if of course BS6-compliant. Also worth mentioning is that the deliveries of the Jawa Perak has commenced in India very recently.
