Kia Seltos Sees Price Hike Of Up To Rs 35,000 - Details

Kia Seltos, the mid-size SUV which is beating the records of its competitors by offering a plethora of features has now seen a price hike. Kia Seltos was launched in August 2019 at a price tag of Rs 9.69 lakh and come 2020, the starting price now starts from Rs 9.89 lakh.

The price hike of the Kia Seltos varies variant wise. While the tech line of petrol engine sees a price hike of Rs 20k, the diesel hike stands at as much as 35k. And the turbo petrol sits in the middle with a Rs 30k price hike. In this article, we will be telling you the prices of each and every variant of Kia Seltos!

This price hike is not just limited to the new customers but for existing too, who still haven't got their hands on Seltos. Some of the buyers even received delayed deliveries because of the price hike they had to cope up with. Mind you, this is just the ex-showroom price hike and in real-world with the addition of RTO, other tax inclusions and insurance premium the hike comes at an up of Rs 65,000 to Rs 70,000.

Kia Seltos is one of the popular mid-size SUVs in the country and is the only one which comes with BS6 engines across the range. The sales of the Seltos have been pretty impressive from its launch but the month of December saw its lowest sales at just 4,800 units. From an average of 9,000-10,000 units per month, the decline is over 60%.
