Mahindra Vision T Teased; Details

The Vision T, in all probability, is going to be a newer version of the Thar.e concept which was showcased in 2023, but this time, we can expect it to be closer to production. The teaser film hint towards a rugged SUV with boxy, but modern and sharp design elements, similar to what we saw with the Thar.e concept. The car maker has given glimpses of bits such as the bonnet, windscreen, extended wheel arches, and what also appear to be off-roading tyres.

The Vision T will be underpinned by the INGLO all-electric platform, but it is difficult to comment on the exact motor and battery specifications. However, it is safe to assume that the Vision T will likely begin with a rear-wheel drive setup, and it will also likely come with a specialised 4x4 setup. As for the battery packs, we can expect the 59kWh and the 79kWh battery packs from the BE 6 and the XEV 9E to be carried over. That said, we won't be surprised if Mahindra further debuts newer capacity battery packs.

The Vision T is likely to be accompanied by three other concept vehicles, along with a new platform for combustion-engined vehicles, which is likely going to underpin future products such as the next-generation Bolero. If you remember from last year, Mahindra had also mentioned projects such as the Bolero.e and the Scorpio.e. It is possible that Mahindra may also give some clarity on these two cars.
