While specific details about this launch are somewhat limited, Kia is broadening its Carens series by introducing the new Kia Carens X-Line variant, which will provide customers with two extra choices. This X-Line variant is positioned as the flagship model within the Carens range.

The Kia Carens is one of the most affordable and well-equipped MPVs available in India. The Carens is available in three engine options - 1.5-L NA Petrol Engine, 1.4-L Turbo Petrol, and 1.5-L turbo diesel. This Carens engine produces 140 horsepower and 242 Nm of peak torque in its petrol version. With this engine, purchasers can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. The Carens CNG's power and torque figures will, of course, be lower than the petrol versions.
