MG Cyberster EV

The MG Cyberster EV was a hot topic in early 2025, with promotions in full swing and widespread speculation within the automotive industry pointing to a launch around February or March. However, the launch was delayed indefinitely. Now, the Cyberster EV has been spotted being unloaded from a truck and parked at an MG Select showroom - most likely for display purposes.

MG has opened the "Pre-Reserve" option for the Cyberster and M9 - their two premium electric cars - which will only be available through MG Select dealerships, on their OEM for months now. However, no message from the automaker has been transferred to the public about their launches. But MG has started the media drives for the M9 - their luxurious MPV - hinting that this car will launch first.

Here is some more information about the Cyberster - This e-sports car will be powered by a dual-motor 77 kWh battery pack that produces 510 PS and 710 Nm of torque, and the brain behind this car is former Italian F1 engineer, Marco Fainello. The international site of MG says that its electric range is up to 507 km, and with a 144 kW DC fast charger, it will go from 10% to 80% in just 38 minutes. It will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 200 km/h.

Verdict
MG Cyberster EV was the show-stopper of Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, and almost everyone was waiting for its official launch dates. However, still this car hasn't launched and has kept us waiting for god knows how long. We think the first premium car MG will launch will be the M9, and the second one will be this - most probably by the end of the year.
