Design

The KTM 160 Duke carries the same aggressive DNA as its siblings, which makes it instantly recognisable. At the front, it boasts a split LED headlight setup along with integrated DRLs. Moving forward, you'll notice the muscular fuel tank with bold extensions, giving it a more athletic stance. Meanwhile, the exposed trellis frame enhances the bike's rigidity and rugged character. At the rear, you'll notice an upswept tail section with a minimalist LED taillight setup. The underbelly exhaust helps to keep the overall appeal clean. Notably, this bike comes in three shades: Electronic Orange, Atlantic Blue, and Silver Metallic Matte.
Features

Despite being a budget sports bike, the 160 skimps on a lot of features. It includes a 5-inch LCD console along with Bluetooth connectivity, with the KTM connect app, which includes turn-by-turn navigation, call accept and decline function, etc. While some of the additional features include LED headlights, taillights, along blinkers.
Powertrain
The KTM 160 Duke is powered by a 164.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, SOHC engine, which belts out 19 PS and 15.5 Nm of torque. Moreover, this powerhouse comes paired with a 6-speed manual transmission along with a slipper and assist clutch.
Hardware
The 160 Duke comes with a trellis frame same as the Duke 200. Meanwhile, this one rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The trellis frame has been suspended on WP upside-down forks at the front and a monoshock linkage at the rear. However, the braking duties are handled by a 320mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc rear, along with dual channel ABS as standard.

The KTM 160 Duke is available at a price tag of Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 22,000 cheaper than its elder sibling, the Duke 200. Meanwhile, it goes head-to-head with the Yamaha MT 15 and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
