Lexus India is here with its most exquisite grand tourer car- LC500H and it has been launched in India at a price of Rs 1.96 crores which is enough to make you realize that there is a long way to go!
If making a style statement is your sort of thing, you just can't get over the looks of the LC, you will drool over its ostentatious looks and its curvy lines. This thing moves with a 3.5-litre petrol engine which delivers meek 300 hp and 348 Nm of torque. I know it doesn't sound astonishing, that's why Lexus has plonked a hybrid system and an electric motor delivering additional boost 180 hp. The LC500H produces 354 hp combined, powerful enough?

The complicated gearbox includes a torque converter and a CVT, combined, they count 10 steps or speeds! Enough for the mechanicals part, lets' hop in the interiors and specifications. The Lexus LC500H comes equipped with a digital instrument cluster, 10.3 inch infotainment screen operated with a touchpad, automatic climate control, 10-way adjustable driver's seat, variable gear ratio steering, drive modes, cruise control, multiple airbags, hill start assist, traction control, tire pressure monitoring system, vehicle management system, LED headlights with boomerang-shaped DRLs and LED taillamps.

Obviously, you can customise your Lexus LC500H and add a few more numbers to the already extravagant price. Lexus India has also unveiled the made in India ES 300h mid-size luxury sedan making it more affordable and accessible. However, LC300H will be CBU unit and will be brought in limited numbers. In India, although it doesn't offer a V8 like in overseas, it will take on the likes of the Mercedes AMG GT, Jaguar F-type V8, Porsche 911 Carrera and Bentley Continental GT.
