A few months ago, Lexus India launched the 2025 Lexus LX 500d at a price of Rs 3 crore (ex-showroom). Now, after three months, the brand has commenced nationwide deliveries of its flagship SUV. The LX 500d is powered by a robust V6 twin-turbo diesel engine. It is available in three color options for the standard variant and one exclusive color option for the Overtrail edition.. Lexus LX 500d
The Lexus LX 500d is a full-size luxury SUV that comes with a plethora of features and a rugged stance. It is powered by a 3.3-litre V6 twin-turbo diesel engine producing 304 bhp of power and 700 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 10-speed AT gearbox.
On the design front, the SUV features a large, bold grille with chrome inserts, 22-inch alloy wheels, triple-projector LED headlamps, sleek LED DRLs, and an imposing stance. The Overtrail edition, on the other hand, gets a more aggressive design and a Moon Desert colour option. The front grille, door handles, alloy wheels, roof rails, and other elements are blacked out in the Overtrail edition. Moreover, it comes with 18-inch alloy wheels instead of the 22-inchers found on the standard version.
The interior of the LX 500d is packed with a plethora of features. It comes equipped with a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-inch MID, four-zone climate control, 25 Mark Levinson speakers with a 3D sound system, an 11.6-inch rear seat entertainment display, a 7-inch drive dynamic control display, electrically adjustable front seats, and rear seat ventilation and heating functions, among other features. Additionally, the interior of the standard variant is available in Hazel and Crimson colour tones, while the Overtrail edition comes with a Khaki interior theme.
