Limited Anniversary Edition RE Interceptor 650 & Continental GT Price Revealed, All 120 Units Sold Out

Royal Enfield had priced these bikes between Rs. 4.50 lakhs to Rs. 4.80 lakhs. But no more models are available for purchase.

The Anniversary Edition Interceptor 650, and the Continental GT 650 were launched at the 2021 EICMA in Milan, Italy. These limited edition motorcycles celebrate Royal Enfield's 120th Make Anniversary in the industry. India got only 120 units of the total 480 units made for worldwide production. Royal Enfield had unveiled the prices of these new bikes yesterday, and the booking window as well. Within just 120 seconds, all 60 units of the Continental GT 650 and 60 units of the Interceptor 650 were sold out.

These collectors edition models celebrate Royal Enfields 120^th make anniversary. Both the bikes get an exclusive premium all-black paint with gorgeous attention-to-details. The hand-made die-cast brass tank emblem is crafted by the multi-generational Sirpi Senthil artisans family from Kumbhakonam, Tamil Nadu. The rich black chrome paint was also developed in Chennai. Other differentiating fittings include a unique serial number on the tank top badge and the usual hand-painted pinstripes in special paint. Black is the theme of both of these bikes. The exhaust pipe is in black, and so are the spoke wheels along with the engine section as well.

Mechanically, both the limited edition Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 bikes get the same 648 cc, air-cooled, parallel-twin engine. It produces the same 47.65 Ps and 52 Nm of torque. The rev-happy motor comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with a slipper clutch, and it can easily cruise at 120 kmh-130 kmh without any vibration -  as far as the standard models are concerned.

To ensure added peace of mind, both the limited edition bikes come with an extended warranty package. It costs Rs. 4,700 and for two more years over the standard 3 year warranty period. There are standard accessory kits worth Rs. 18,600 for the Interceptor 650 and Rs. 19,500 for the Continental GT. Accessories include factory-fitted engine guards, fly screen, heel pads, touring/ bar end mirrors, and handlebar brace pad, metal slump guard, and a premium brown seat with color-coded handlebar grips.
