Mahindra BE 6

Mahindra BE 6 is offered with a Stealth Black paint option, which adds a shiny element to the car. In this color, the BE 6 appears both elegant and exclusive. The upcoming special edition could feature a matte black finish. Additionally, the diamond-cut alloys might be revamped with a darker finish. Similarly, the interior would receive the same treatment - a black overall layout, black seats, and specific badging on the headrests.

Since this is a special color treatment, the pricing is expected to be on the higher side. We anticipate it will start with the 59 kWh battery pack and go up to the top-end 79 kWh variant. This brings us to the battery specification of it.
Battery Pack Details | 59 kWh | 79 kWh |
Power | 231 PS | 285 PS |
Torque | 380 Nm | 380 Nm |
Drivetype | RWD | RWD |
Range | 557 Km | 683 Km |
Moreover, the Mahindra BE 6 with the standard 59 kWh battery pack takes 8.7 hours to charge from 0 to 100% with the smaller 7.2 kW charger, and just 6 hours with the larger 11.2 kW AC charger. On the other hand, with DC fast charging at 140 kW input, both battery variants take just 20 minutes.
Verdict
What Mahindra has achieved, several international brands couldn't. And that's because of how they marketed these two cars. Mahindra didn't force the idea that EVs provide great savings and are eco-friendly down their customers' throats. Instead, they marketed them as cool electric cars, with high-tech features and a design that matches Italian supercar levels. And it worked. Plus, this is just the beginning, as on 15th August, we'll witness something grand in the electric space. So, stay tuned.
