In the premium segment, Maruti Suzuki plans to introduce the rebadged Toyota Innova Hycross. Maruti Suzuki and Toyota both sell two vehicles that are already identical but go by different names. The first is the Glanza, which is a rebadged Baleno, and the second is the Hyryder, which is a rebadged Grand Vitara. Maruti will now introduce the rebadged Innova Hycross as part of the same vehicle-sharing partnership. Recently, the brand trademarked "Engage," which could be the name of Maruti's upcoming Innova Hycross sibling.

Maruti Suzuki Engage
The brand filed a new trademark name Engage last month, and it has since passed the formality checks. Maruti will need to register a new name for its rebadged version of the Innova Hycross if the name gets denied or objected to. The upcoming Innova Hycross version from Maruti will have a distinctive front fascia and subtle tweaks to the rear. It will be visually different from the Toyota version. Additionally, Maruti might offer the car a fresh set of alloy wheels. The features of the vehicle are anticipated to be similar to those of the Toyota Hycross, however, Maruti may differentiate its vehicle's variants distinctly.
Maruti Suzuki has not yet confirmed if the entire non-hybrid and hybrid lineup will be available in its rebadged model. A 2.0-liter TNGA 4-cylinder petrol engine, which is linked with an electric motor power the hybrid version and is also available in the non-hybrid variant of the Toyota Innova Hycross. The non-hybrid model produces a maximum torque of 205 Nm and 171 bhp of power. A CVT gearbox is coupled with this engine. The hybrid powertrain, on the other hand, produces 206 Nm of motor torque together with 184 bhp of engine output. An e-CVT is paired with this engine.

Maruti Suzuki Engage - Launch Timeline
To meet the needs of different segments of the market, Maruti Suzuki is rapidly growing its lineup of vehicles. The rebranded Innova Hycross could be released in the next two to three months. Pricing is crucial because consumers expect Maruti vehicles to be reasonably priced, so if Maruti can aggressively price the rebadged Hycross, they'll undoubtedly attract a sizable number of buyers.
