Since the beginning of 2022, Maruti Suzuki has introduced a number of new vehicles. Maruti is also getting ready to introduce the new Grand Vitara SUV and the upgraded Alto K10 for the Indian market. When it comes to future models, the XL7, which is available in international markets, could be one to expect from the brand. The Maruti Suzuki XL7, a premium NEXA offering, is already available for purchase in the Indonesian market and is expected to be introduced in the Indian market.
Engine Specifications
The brand has kept a tight lip about the launch of the XL7 in the Indian market. But if we look at the international spec variant, it comes with a 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine. The engine provides good power and torque, and outstanding fuel efficiency, and both automatic and manual transmission will be available. When compared to the Ertiga and XL6, the same engine that is used throughout the Maruti Suzuki stable will receive a different tuning.

Design & Dimension
When compared to the XL6 that is sold in India, the XL7 MPV that is available in Indonesia has a similar profile and appearance. It would feature XL6-like proportions with a longer wheelbase and greater height and be constructed on the Heartect Platform. Along with other minor aesthetic adjustments, the front and rear bumper, pillars, and ORVMs may all have accents that are blacked out. The MPV will get a roof rail to give it a more athletic aspect. It will have seven seats, as the name suggests. In addition, the XL6's middle row features two captain's seats, whereas the XL7's middle and third rows will have benches.
The XL7 will be equipped with premium-looking machine-cut multi-spoke alloy wheels, door visors, and a rear upper spoiler that is identical to the XL6 in design but has an integrated stop lamp.
Features
It is anticipated that the XL7 will have the same features as the XL6. The MPV is expected to have a 7-inch or 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SmartPlay Pro+. Other amenities include a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, TPMS, and automatic climate control, in addition to connection for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features will include airbags, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX mounts and other safety features.
Expected Launch
Regarding the XL7, Maruti has not made any official announcements. We do believe that it might reach India 2023, though. It will help Maurti beat the competition and provide ideal company for the six-seater XL6.
