MG Motor India recently launched the ZS EV at a price tag of Rs 20.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and deliveries for the same has already begun. EESL (Energy Efficiency Services Ltd) is the first to take the delivery of the electric SUV and plans to take more deliveries of the MG ZS EV in the future.
MG ZS EV is powered by a 44.5 kWh battery pack which produces 143 bhp along with maximum torque at 353 Nm. It gets mated to a single-speed gearbox and the driving range is above 300 kilometres. It rivals with the Hyundai Kona and Tata Nexon EV.
Speaking on the future of mobility in the country and the role of automotive players such as MG Motor India in it,¦nbsp;Mr. Saurabh Kumar,¦nbsp;MD ⬜ EESL, said, ⬓The future of mobility in India is electric and sustainable. It is heartening to see that private companies such as MG Motor India are taking strong measures to complement the government⬢s EV vision.

MG ZS EV has already received over 2700 bookings and comes in two trims. It hosts several features like a huge panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, connected car technology, PM 2.5 Filter, Electronic parking brake and among others.
Coming towards the charging then MG will install fast charging at select dealerships. It can charge the battery from 0-80% in just about 50 minutes while the chargers set up at your home/office will juice up the battery in 7-8 hours fully.
