New 2020 Yamaha FZ-S V3 BS6 Vintage Edition Launched in India - Know its Price and Details

Yamaha Motor India has just launched the new Vintage Edition variant of the FZ-S V3 BS6. The Yamaha FZ-S is a very popular 150cc premium sporty commuter in the Indian market. The FZ-S is currently in its third-generation avatar and so it is called the FZ-S V3. If you remember, just a few weeks ago, the company launched the FZ-S V3 with Bluetooth Connectivity in India and now Yamaha has given the FZ-S yet another update. The new 2020 Yamaha FZ-S V3 BS6 Vintage Edition has been just launched in India and its price has been set at Rs. 1.09 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. Here are all the details about it.

The new Vintage Edition variant of the Yamaha FZ-S V3 gets only cosmetic updates and there are no mechanical changes or feature add-ons. The FZ-S was first launched in India more than ten years ago and it has redefined the 150cc sporty commuter segment. Yamaha markets this motorcycle in India with a tagline 'lord of the streets'. Talking about the changes in this new FZ-S Vintage Edition, so it gets new timeless vintage graphics that augment its iconic legacy. Further, it gets a new leather finish single piece two-level seat that adds to its styled-up antiquity. Also, the new Vintage edition of the FZ-S gets Yamaha's latest features like the Bluetooth Connectivity application for various utilities.

This connectivity feature is officially termed as the 'Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X' and the riders just need to download this application from the Google Play Store or iOS App Store. As already mentioned before, this new variant of the Yamaha FZ-S BS6 doesn't get any mechanical changes. So, the FZ-S continues to be powered by a BS6-compliant 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 12.4 PS of maximum power at 7250 RPM and 13.6 Nm of peak torque at 5500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The price of the new 2020 Yamaha FZ-S V3 BS6 Vintage Edition is Rs. 1,09,700, Ex-showroom Delhi.

In comparison, the recently launched FZ-S V3 with Bluetooth Connectivity is priced at Rs. 1.07 lakhs, the regular Dark Knight model is priced at Rs. 1.05 lakhs and the other colour variants retail at Rs. 1.03 lakhs. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. Speaking on the occasion of the launch, Mr Motofumi Shitara, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group of companies said, "We are committed to offering better motorcycling experiences to the customers in India. Today we have introduced the Vintage edition in our FZS-FI variant with smart features like Bluetooth connectivity. We will continue to bring more such excitement for the biking enthusiasts in future, eventually as we rev up the entire line up of our motorcycles."
