Royal Enfield has finally updated its 650 twins in India. The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650 are now updated with new features. Additionally, RE has introduced new paint options as well. Read the top highlights of these newly launched bikes below.

Alloy Wheels & Tubeless Tyres

The most-awaited addition is the alloy wheels & tubeless tyres. Since their launch, the 650 twins are being offered only with spoked rims and tube-type tyres. While they look cool, they've proved to be a burden to a lot of customers. Fixing a puncture and changing a tyre was a big headache until now. The new 650 twins have come with blacked-out 18-inch machined alloy wheels. Additionally, RE is offering tubeless tyres along with them as an OEM fitment. These alloy wheels will soon start being offered as accessory parts as well.

LED Headlight

The second highlight is the new headlight unit. This unit is carried forward from the Super Meteor 650. The LED headlight has definitely upgraded the outlook of the Interceptor & Continental GT. Additionally, this headlight can also be upgraded by the current 650 twin owners. One will soon be able to buy it as an accessory part as well.

New Colour Options

RE has also updated the colour list on both of the bikes. The Interceptor now gets a total of 4 new colours. The Black Ray & Barcelona Blue are being offered with a blacked-out outlook & alloy wheels. However, the Black Pearl & Cali Green are only being offered on the spoked variants. Similarly, Continental GT 650 has been upgraded with the addition of two new paint shades. Slipstream Blue & Apex Grey are new colour shades that have made their way on the Continental.

New Features - More Comfort

Meanwhile, RE has also updated both of the models with new features. For example, the switchgear is now changed to that seen on the Meteor 350. Additionally, RE is now offering a USB phone charging socket as well. Meanwhile, the seats on both of the models have also been changed. While the design of the seats looks the same; they now offer more cushioning. All of these features have now made the 650 twins more tech-rich.
