Nissan Magnite CVT Automatic Spied - Cheapest CSUV With A CVT Gearbox?

Nissan recently revealed the upcoming Nissan Magnite compact SUV in the Indian market. The subcompact crossover will rival against cars like the Ford Ecosport, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and other sub-4m compact SUVs. While the brand will be launching the car soon, a completely undisguised Nissan Magnite CVT automatic was spied on the road during a TVS shoot in Mumbai.

The Nissan Magnite gets special design elements, an aggressive front fascia, and sport red-black colour scheme to attract the young buyers. In addition, the car also boasts a muscular stance and high ground clearance which makes it a great car for Indian roads. The car has been designed in Japan and is expected to get a turbo variant on offer as well. The recent spy pics have also revealed that the car will be getting an automatic variant with a CVT gearbox. The prices of the Magnite are expected to start from Rs 8-9 lakh (ex-showroom) and we do expect the car to be the cheapest CSUV in the Indian market that comes with a CVT gearbox.

As of now, we know that the Nissan Magnite will only be offered with petrol engines that will include a naturally aspirated and a turbocharged engine. Apart from this, the buyers will also be able to choose the dual-tone body colours with the Magnite while we also expect the brand to offer the Magnite as a feature-packed car to make it a VFM offering in the segment.
