The Maharashtra Government has yet again made a new EV policy for 2021 which makes electric two-wheelers even more affordable in the state. Also, to improve the quality of life and environment, the government has brought in changes to the previous EV policy.
Now that the EVs have become cheaper in Maharastra, we thought of creating an article that tells you all about the revised price for electric scooters from Okinawa Autotech which is substantially lower than before.

Okinawa Ridge Plus price in Mumbai:
Okinawa Ridge Plus is an entry-level high-speed scooter. The scooter was priced at Rs.69,000 as per the previous FAME-II subsidy pricing, however, thanks to the addition of Rs.7,200 Fame II benefit, an early bird incentive of Rs.8,750 and Rs. 8,750 base subsidy, the Okinawa Ridge Plus now comes at an affordable price of Rs,44,291 in Mumbai. This is a massive reduction of Rs.24,709 when compared to the price in June 2021.
As for the vehicle, the Ridge Plus comes equipped with a 1.74kWh swappable lithium-ion battery and a 2.3 hp electric motor that has the potential to clock a top speed of 55kmph. The vehicle provides an ARAI-certified range of 84km per full charge in Eco Mode. In addition to this, the e-scooter gets two 10-inch wheels coupled with a drum brake setup, both on the front and rear wheel.
Also, the e-scooter comes with smartphone connectivity features, real-time tracking, engine immobiliser and geo-fencing among others.
Okinawa Praise Pro price in Mumbai:
Prior to the new FAME-II benefit of July 2021, the Okinawa Praise Pro came at Rs.84,795. However, the Praise Pro now gets Rs.7,947 Fame-II benefit, an early bird incentive of Rs.9,500 and a Rs.9,500 base subsidy from the government which makes the Praise Pro cheaper at Rs.57,848 when compared to the price before June 2021. It is a reduction of Rs, 26,947 making it one of the most affordable e-scooters in the market.
As for the vehicle, the Praise pro gets a 2kWh swappable lithium-ion battery. The company claims that the battery pack can be fully charged in just three hours time. The Okinawa Praise Pro comes with a punchy 3.3 hp electric motor that has the potential to clock over 70 kmph in speed. As per the ARAI-certified range, the scooter can provide a range of 88km in Eco mode on a fully charged battery.
The e-scooter gets 12-inch wheels and is equipped with disc brakes on both front and rear coupled with ABS. In addition to this, it gets features like a smart start, digital instrument cluster and a charging port for mobile phones among others.

Okinawa i Praise Plus price:
The i Praise Plus from Okinawa is a high end, high-speed electric scooter which was almost expensive for a commoner until the revised FAME-II subsidy was announced. The e-scooter was priced at Rs.1,17,600 prior to July 2021, however, with the increase in FAME-II subsidy by 17,900, an Rs.10,000 early bird incentive and Rs.10,000 base subsidy under the state EV policy, the Okinawa i Praise Plus is now priced at Rs.79,708 in Mumbai. It is a massive cut to the price by Rs.37,892 when compared to its price before June 2021.
As for the e-scooter, the Okinawa i Praise Plus comes equipped with a swappable 3.3kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The company claims that the battery can fully juice up in just two to three hours time. The e-scooter has a 3.3 hp electric motor that has the potential to churn out speeds of more than 70kmph. As per the ARAI certified range, the e-scooter provides 139km of range in Eco mode.
In addition to all this, the scooter gets 12-inch wheels along with a disc brake setup on the front and rear coupled with ABS. It has features such as smartphone connectivity, engine immobiliser, led headlamps, keyless start, geo-fencing and real-time tracking among others.
However, do note that the early bird incentive is made available to those buying e-scooters until 31 December 2021 so grab your Okinawa scooter now!
