The brand has stated this move as a strategic plan for penetrating the all-electric commercial vehicle segment. Piaggio after several strategic geographies has now opened its first EV customer experience centre in Chennai.
The first of its kind customer experience centre in Chennai allows its customers to get access to a wide range of commercial and passenger electric vehicle portfolios.
As for its electric vehicles, Piaggio had launched its fixed battery range of EVs in February, both in cargo as well as passenger segments. The brand has stated that its wide array of EVs will be available at the new outlet in Chennai. The Ape E City passenger carrier and Ape E Xtra cargo carrier are among the EVs that will be presented at its new outlet. The three-wheeler EV maker has mentioned that it has plans on expanding its presence in different cities of Tami Nadu.

The brand added that the FX range of three-wheelers is made to meet the expectations and requirements of Piaggios customers. It also comes with a full metal body and a cargo deck that is 6ft. in length. The vehicle can be customized for a variety of applications that require a delivery van, garbage collector among others.
