The Royal Enfield Continental GT & Interceptor 650 has undergone many adjustments. The adoption of alloy wheels is one such significant improvement. The updated variants now come with brand-new 18-inch alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. Furthermore, an LED headlight unit is now fitted to the 650 Twins. A USB phone charging port is now additionally available. Additionally, the switchgear has been updated in the 2023 variant.

The addition of the Tripper navigation pod will be another boon for the customers. The existing twin-pod instrument console will accommodate the Tripper Navigation pod. In essence, it is a Bluetooth-enabled display that provides metrics for distance and direction.

There are currently four new colour options for the Interceptor 650. These colours are Barcelona Blue, Black Pearl, Black Ray, and Cali Green. Additionally, Slipstream Blue & Apex Grey colour options for the Continental GT 650 are now available. However, the seat design has been altered to make both bikes more comfortable than before. According to RE, the rider seat is now more cushioned and will therefore provide more comfort when moving.

On the other hand, the engine is the same BS6 RDE-compliant component. Both models now have updated ECUs, which results in a slight increase in torque from the 648cc parallel-twin engine.

Verdict: With the Tripper pod, the Royal Enfield 650 Twins will be more feature-rich. Customers can purchase it as an accessory as well, and it is expected to cost roughly Rs 5,000. Join the 91Wheels Whatsapp group to get the most recent news in the car industry.
