Toyota Innova Hycross Hybrid prices are now increased with the addition of new variants as well. The new mid Hycross Hybrid 'VX'O' trim bridges the gap between the VX and ZX trims. It is available in both a 7-seater as well as an 8-seater. The price for the new variant is 26.73 lakh for the 7-seater whereas the 8-seater configuration costs Rs. 26.78 lakh.
Let's look at the things this variant offers.
Toyota Innova Hycross Variant VX'O'
This variant rejig is only limited to the Innova Hycross strong hybrid. The petrol version still gets just two variants. The new variant bridged the gap between the VX and the ZX trims already on offer, both in price and features wise. Earlier, the price gap between the base VX variant and the top ZX variant stood at Rs. 4.32 lakh ex-showroom.
This large gap either made buyers settle for the lower variant and miss out on features like a larger touchscreen and panoramic sunroof or shell out Rs. 4.32 lakh extra and get the ZX variant. With the introduction of the VX(O) variant, the hybrid powertrain of the Innova Hycross offers a better selection of features, thus appealing to a larger set of prospective buyers.

| Petrol Variants | Ex-showroom |
| G 7-Seater | Rs 18.55 lakh |
| G 8-Seater | Rs 18.60 lakh |
| GX 7-Seater | Rs 19.40 lakh |
| GX 8-Seater | Rs 19.45 lakh |
| Strong Hybrid | |
| VX 7-Seater | Rs 24.76 lakh |
| VX 8-Seater | Rs 24.81 lakh |
| VX (O) 7-Seater | Rs 26.73 lakh |
| VX (O) 8-Seater | Rs 26.78 lakh |
| ZX | Rs 29.08 lakh |
| ZX (O) | Rs 29.72 lakh |

The petrol Hycross now starts at Rs. 18.55 lakh for the G 7-seater variant and goes up to Rs. 19.45 for the GX variant. The strong hybrid Toyota Innova Hycross retails at a starting price tag of 24.76 lahks for the VX 7- seater, whereas the top-spec hybrid touches almost 30 lakh mark.
VERDICT- The price hike is one thing that has been standard across the carmakers for the year 2023. But the introduction of this new VX'O' Variant is a much-needed restructuring. The earlier difference between the trims was starkly heavy on pockets as well as on features. This will surely woo the prospective buyers that were a little dicey before.
