Upcoming 2020 Honda WR-V: 5 changes you should know

Honda will soon launch the all-new City sedan in the Indian market. Side by side, they will also update the sub-4m compact SUV - the WR-V. Honda has already started accepting the official bookings for the upcoming WR-V and it will get a slew of updates. But what are the most important updates that the upcoming 2020 Honda WR-V will get? Well, to make it compete with the vehicles like Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport, these are the top five changes that this product will get!

New front-end

The upcoming 2020 Honda WR-V will get an updated front-end that will make it look fresh. To start with, the car will get a new wider grille, a new bumper and most-important new headlamps with LED projector lamps and integrated DRLs. These few changes give a completely new look to the WR-V and make it look very different and upmarket from the outgoing version.

Cleaner BS6 compliant engine options

The upcoming 2020 Honda WR-V will become one of the first vehicles from the Japanese manufacturer to offer BS6 compliant engine options. The new Honda WR-V will offer both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variants will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine and Honda is expected to offer manual as well as CVT automatic transmission with the option. The diesel variants will come powered by the 1.5-litre engine option. The diesel variants will only offer a 6-speed manual transmission.

Updated dashboard

Even the dashboard of the new WR-V will get an update and it will offer a new layout with a layered design. Most importantly, the instrument cluster will get updated thoroughly and it will now offer more information and a sportier look.

Updated infotainment

Honda will offer the new DigiPad 2.0 with the upcoming WR-V. It will now offer the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity too. The updated infotainment system is expected to offer connected features but it is not confirmed.

New tail lamps

With the thoroughly updated front-end, the rear of the upcoming 2020 Honda WR-V will also get updated with the new LED tail lamps. The tail lamps will be similar to what we get to see on the Honda Jazz. It will be split lamps and will make the rear look sportier and more premium.
