
Just recently Volvo India unveiled the S60 sedan for the Indian market with a mild facelift and its launch is slated in early 2021. According to sources, the latest update from the Swedish carmaker, Volvo, is that they will soon bring the S90 facelift too in next year which will be its third product.

Sharing details on the facelift of Volvo S90 then overall, the luxury sedan retains its silhouette as before. On the exteriors, there is a new alloy wheel, front bumper and the tweaked LED taillights which gives the sedan a distinctive look overall. Other changes include new fog light design, new fog lights and new colour options to choose from.

On the inside, the facelifted model continues with the same design and technology but with an addition of advanced air purifier with PM 2.5 filter. Earlier this one was exclusive to the Chinese markets only and we expect it to make to Indian shores soon.
The centre console is equipped with the latest technology and that helps you in controlling almost all features of the luxury sedan. It continues with the Bowers and Wilkins audio system but with an upgraded amplifier and it further gets dual USB C charging ports at the rear. The owners can also select exclusive tailor-wool blend seats.

As far as the mechanicals are concerned then it now receives a 2.0-litre hybrid petrol engine which makes combine power of 405 bhp. Volvo claims that this engine can run better off for 40 km on just pure electric motor. It further continues to get the regular 2.0L petrol and diesel engine with mild-hybrid technology.
Like the other Volvo's in India, this upcoming S90 facelift is also expected to come with a 2.0L petrol engine which will either be tuned to make 195 bhp or 248 bhp. This engine gets mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and is super refined with the NVH levels.
