Yamaha YZF-R15 S V3 Updated With New Matte Black Colour

Yamaha R15 is one of the most celebrated fully-faired entry-level Yamaha motorcycles in India. There are several R15 variants, and one of them recently received an update. India Yamaha Motor (IYM) has upgraded the YZF-R15 S Version 3.0 motorcycle by giving it a new Matte Black colour. The new colour upgrade is only available for the Unibody Seat model. The new paint scheme is offered along with the R15 S's already-available Racing Blue colour, beginning at Rs. 1.60 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi) for the YZF-R15 S Version 3.0 model lineup.

After completing a large-scale survey and gaining customer feedbacks, the new colour is introduced. Many of the customers were found to be asking for a new colour choice in this edition throughout this activity. The company chose to release the YZF-R15 S Version 3.0 in "Matte Black" in order to meet the needs of these youthful and new consumers.

In terms of the R15 S V3's engine specifications, it has a 155 cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve engine with fuel injection. The engine is capable of producing a maximum torque of 14.1 Nm and 18.3 bhp of power. A 6-speed transmission with cutting-edge features like the Assist & Slipper (A&S) Clutch is coupled to this engine.

The Yamaha R15 S V3 has all LED lighting, Dual-Channel ABS, a digital instrument cluster with a gear shift indicator, a gear position indicator, a VVA indicator, as well as other amenities including a trip metre, a tachometer, and other information.

In other Yamaha news, by April 2023, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer plans to launch a pair of mid-weight sports bikes in India. The Yamaha R7 and MT-07 pair of sports and naked motorcycles will soon be released in India, according to online rumours. Both variants are anticipated to be sold in India as CBUs.
