Yamaha YZF-R15M World GP 60th Anniversary Edition Launched

Yamaha introduces the World GP 60th Anniversary Edition of the YZF-R15M in India at Rs 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom). The new motorcycle comes with a classic white and red 'speed block' color palette, which includes the gold Alloy wheels, Yamaha factory race-bike gold tuning fork insignia, black levers, and unique anniversary badging on the fuel tank.

Since 1961, the brand has been associated with the premier series of motorcycle road racing, and with the debut of this special edition, the company has acknowledged its relationship.  It pays homage to Yamaha's racing heritage and the persistent spirit of Yamaha riders over the last 60 years.

Yamaha YZF-R15

The 155cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, 4-valve engine of the YZF-R15M World GP 60th Anniversary Edition delivers maximum power of 18.1 bhp and torque of 14.2 Nm. The engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox.

The features of the Yamaha YZF-R15M World GP 60th Anniversary Edition are the same as those of the ordinary YZF-R15M model. This features the traction control system, a quick-shifter for fast clutchless upshifts, a golden upside-down front fork, Yamaha Connect with Bluetooth, and a YZF-R1 inspired LCD instrument cluster with Gear shift indication, track & street mode, and more. A delta box frame, linked-type monocross rear suspension, and dual-Channel ABS are also included.
