The brakes and small tyres on the TVS Scooty Pep+ are standard. Although the tyres appear small at first glance, they actually offer the Scooty Pep+ good handling and balance. Telescopic forks and a mono-shock rear suspension with coil spring hydraulic dampers are features of the TVS Scooty. The two-wheelers are equipped with 110mm drum brakes on either side of 10-inch alloy wheels. Synchronized braking technology is included with the TVS Scooty Pep Plus. The tyres are tubeless, approximately 90/90-10 inches in size, and mounted on both sides. Both the front and back tyres are tubeless, 3.00 - 10 4PR 42J. Adding disc brakes can improve the vehicle's stopping power, although it still functions just fine without them.
The Scooty Pep plus comes with a multitude of features for a gearless scooter. It has a front glove box and enough room in the under-seat storage area which comes in handy for women. The patented technology of TVS motors i.e., 'Eazy Centre Stand' ensures reduced efforts to switch the vehicle on its centre stand by 30%. There is also a provision for an outlet for your mobile charger. The TVS Scooty Pep Plus adheres to the classic norm of exhibiting an instrumental panel complete with an analogue digital odometer, speedometer and trip meter. The cluster also has a fuel gauge. The TVS Scooty Pep plus features a shutter lock, automatic headlights, low fuel indicator, ETFI technology, halogen headlights, a pillion footrest and a grab rail. However, the instrument cluster doesn't come with mobile app connectivity, navigation through GPS, low oil indicator, low battery indicator or a clock. There is no shift light or kill switch either.
Summary
The TVS Scooty Pep comes at a pretty low retail price which is why it does not have many features or the best brakes in business but it surely gets the job of easily transporting you from point A to B pretty efficiently.
