Seltos Highlights
On Target
The style-first choice of the segment, the Seltos blends sharp design with a long feature list and strong performance options, making it a favourite among younger and tech-savvy buyers.
What We Like
Striking exterior design, premium-looking and feature-rich cabin, wide engine and gearbox choices including turbo-petrol, engaging to drive, and smooth automatic options.
What We Do Not Like
Ride quality can feel firm on rough roads, safety ratings lag behind some rivals, rear seat comfort isn't the best in the segment, and top variants are on the expensive side.

Expert Verdict on Seltos

91Wheels Expert
Pros & Cons of Seltos
Sharp, aggressive styling offers a strong road presence
Longest in the segment, translating to generous cabin space and legroom
The new platform and revised suspension deliver a comfortable ride quality
Feature-rich from the base variant itself
Strong safety kit offered across the range
Well-laid-out, practical cabin with easy-to-reach controls
Wide engine lineup: 1.5L NA petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol, and 1.5L diesel
The diesel automatic lacks excitement behind the wheel
Top variant misses premium features like an electric co-driver seat, powered tailgate, and rear seat ventilation
Turbo-petrol misses a proper manual gearbox option
The new design is a bit polarising and may not appeal to everyone.
