Hybrid Powertrain: What to Expect

While Kia hasn't disclosed exact output numbers yet, early indications suggest that the India-spec hybrid system may be built around the familiar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with a high-efficiency electric motor and battery pack. Interestingly, the global first-generation Seltos already offered a hybrid option in select American and South American markets, giving Kia a strong foundation to adapt the technology for India.
