The Mahindra Bolero Neo is a great car with toughness, a frugal diesel engine, and decent features on offer. It is a well-put-together machine and good comfort on offer. Since it has +2 seats on offer, it is best suited for kids and apart has decent boot space. It is fuel efficient as well and in tier-2 and tier-3 towns. The overall aesthetics of the car are more old-school SUVish than an urban-modern day SUV.

Rugged Exterior With New Touches 8

• The Bolero Neo has received an update that slightly refreshes the vehicle's front fascia. It maintains its bold front face but features a subtly redesigned front grille. The new grille includes colored horizontal accents to enhance its appearance.
   
• On the side, it now features dark metallic grey 16-inch alloy wheels, which provide an appealing look from the side. The overall side profile remains unchanged, with a step for easy ingress and egress. The brand has also added two new color options – Jeans Blue and Concrete Grey – with dual-tone options available.
   
• At the rear, the vehicle continues to sport a spare wheel mounted on the tailgate. The tailgate opens sideways, and the boot offers jump seat configurations that are ideal for kids. Besides that, it can hold a decent amount of luggage when those seats are unoccupied.

• The interior of the Bolero Neo now offers two new theme options – Lunar Grey and Mocha Brown – along with new seat contours designed for increased comfort with leatherette upholstery. These new color options give the cabin a more premium look.

• The Bolero Neo now comes equipped with an 8.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that includes a rear-view camera. Additionally, it features a Type C fast charging port, manual climate control, an analog instrument cluster, and other amenities.

• The cabin quality is decent, with hard plastics throughout. There is ample storage space for bottles and cups, and the power window controls are centrally located. The front seats provide good comfort, and the independent armrests further enhance the comfort level.

Frugal Diesel Engine With Great Fuel Efficiency 9

• The Bolero Neo comes equipped with a mHAWK100 engine on offer mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine produces 100 BHP with 260 Nm of peak torque. This engine is smooth in power delivery but feels a bit underpowered compared to the size of the vehicle. 
• Considering the SUV proportions of the Bolero Neo, it has a great fuel economy. On driving it sedately, it will return about 16-17 km/L. On highways, it has a top speed of a maximum of 130-140 km/h and has a lot of eminent body roll and vertical movement. 
• The 5-speed gearbox is decent in shifts. The clutch is normal and in traffic jams, it can be a pain.

• The Bolero Neo offers excellent comfort in the front seats. The seats are wide, and the low bonnet line provides a commanding view.

• The middle row offers decent space, with a nearly flat floor and enough width to comfortably seat three passengers. The seats have good cushioning, and there is sufficient knee and legroom.

• It now features advanced ride and handling technology – RideFlo – alongside MTV-CL and Frequency Dependent Damping (FDD) systems that ensure smooth rides even on rough roads, with improved steering feedback, precise handling, and better brake dynamics.
