Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo, the real SUVs you can get under sub-4 meters are now available with a new accessories package called Bold Edition. This new edition costs up to Rs 40,000 and is available with all variants of Bolero, but only with 2 of Bolero Neo. It brings features like fog light surrounds, front bumper, rear camera and black roof rails to these ladder-frame SUVs. Mahindra Bolero - Bold Edition
Let's begin with the Bolero Bold Edition, which is available with all three of its variants - B4, B6, and B6 OPT. This accessory package brings dark chrome-themed exteriors, sporty black front bumper, and premium black interiors. Due to these changes, its front end looks more robust and has upped its machismo level. Apart from these updates, there is nothing different at its core, as this SUV is still powered by a 1.5L mHAWK diesel engine with - 76 PS and 210 Nm of torque.

Mahindra Bolero Neo - Bold Edition
This is the modern avatar of the Bolero nameplate with a better ride quality and spacious cabin. As per OEM, it's available in 4 variants - however, the Bold Edition is solely based on the top two - N10R, and N10 OPT. The new additions include - dark chrome-themed exteriors, roof rails, premium black interiors with comfort kit, and a rearview camera. Verdict
Comparing the Bold Edition prices with the regular versions, we notice a change of up to Rs 40,000, which seems quite high, considering it's just an accessory package. This edition has reached dealerships, and one can visit any Mahindra showroom to experience it. One important reason why Mahindra did this, is because of dropping sales of the Bolero brand, which took a hit because of the unstoppable rise of compact SUV sales.
