Tata Altroz Detailed Review
- Tata Altroz was one of the best-looking Tata cars and hatchbacks, and this facelift takes it to another level. Subtle modern changes elevate its premium quotient. Compared to the outgoing Altroz, the new version appears to be more sporty, thanks to the new 16-inch Drag Cut alloy -finished in gloss black, which gives it an athletic look.
- The front end gains more attitude with a new 3D front grille-improving the air flow, and the new LED twin headlamps with LED DRLs, appears awesome. Also, the fog lamps are all LED.
- A big exterior change is the advent of flush door handles with illumination that makes it the third Tata car to feature this after Curvv and Curvv EV. The rear door handles are placed near the glass end in plastic.
- The rear profile appears futuristic, thanks to the connected LED tail-lights and a new bumper design. Also, the rear windshield gets a wiper, a washer and deffoger, plus brake light at spoiler.
- Overall, if you are bored with the uncountable compact SUVs available and want a dynamic-looking car that looks ecstatic from every angle, Tata Altroz will impress you

- The interior has seen several changes, starting with the overall colour treatment - that makes it even more spacious and lively. Specifically, Tata has used a light yellow colour for the seats, and a dual-tone finish for the dashboard. The new steering wheel also features a dual-tone design.
- The dashboard appears flatter and features a carbon-fibre-like trim on top of the cream colour glossy slate. The lower part of the dashboard has a contrasting white shade, further enhancing its premium appeal.
- The automatic air conditioning unit has been updated, and now features the same glass panel design with touch-based controls as seen in the Tata Nexon. Don’t forget that, the Xpress Cool feature is still there.
- Moving to the rear section, where Tata has done something remarkable by adding extended thigh support, which enhances comfort for tall passengers who previously had to compromise due to their long legs. With this improvement, under-thigh support is no longer an issue, making long journeys significantly more comfortable.
- A rear armrest with twin cupholders is provided, along with rear seat headrests. Moreover, there are rear AC vents, and below them is a Type-C socket.
- A 10.25-inch infotainment screen by HARMAN is there - with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Also, for an exceptional musical experience, AudioWorX is included to tailor the perfect sound for every journey, powered by 4 speakers and 4 tweeters, segment-first feature.
- The wireless charger is a must, and this car features it, as now all smartphones are compatible with it. Placed at the central compartment area.
- The new Altroz features a 10.25-inch MID, the same unit found in the Nexon, Curvv and Safari. This screen offers features like map view and customizable layout settings. Without a doubt, it's one of the best screens in the segment.
- 360-parking camera, a very convenient feature, makes parking easy, especially in tight spaces. Also, blind spot monitor enters the Altroz, which is displayed on the new 10.25 Inch MID.
- Voice assisted electric sunroof - same carried forward in this facelift.
- The Altroz also get iRA tech - a Tata app, that provides important information about the vehicle. From vehicle status, fuel, and customers can also contact 24/7 roadside assistance.
- Lastly, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, TPMS are standard.
Altroz features:

| Ventilated Seats | No |
- The Altroz continues with the same set of powertrains as before: a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5L diesel, and a 1.2L petrol paired with twin-CNG cylinders.
- The petrol engine produces 86 hp and comes with two gearbox options: a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed DCT.
- A new 5-speed AMT has been introduced for the petrol engine.
- The diesel engine, producing 90 hp and 200 Nm of torque, is available only with a 5-speed manual transmission.
- The twin-CNG setup continues to be paired with the same 5-speed manual transmission.
