Tata Punch Latest Update

Last Updated On 13th Jan'26:The Tata Punch Facelift has been launched today at a starting price of Rs 5.59 lakh. It is available in six personas and with three powertrain options. Notably, the Punch now gets a new 1.2L turbo-petrol engine producing 120 PS and 170 Nm of torque, the same unit as the Tata Nexon. Additionally, customers can now opt for a CNG powertrain with an AMT gearbox, making it India’s first SUV to offer a CNG automatic.

The Tata Punch facelift, slated to launch on 13th January, has already reached dealerships. Customers are getting a closer look at the car ahead of its official launch and are noticing the new updates.

If you're entering the car market for the first time or need a compact city-friendly SUV, the 2026 Tata Punch makes a strong case with its safety credentials, tall stance, and spacious cabin. It's easy to live with thanks to its comfortable ride, rough-road-friendly suspension, and the added flexibility of turbo-petrol and CNG-AMT powertrain options. That said, the naturally aspirated engine can feel strained on highways, while the AMT isn't the smoothest in traffic.
