Bajaj Pulsar is an Iconic nameplate in the Indian Motoring History. The first Pulsar motorcycle was launched in the year 2001 and the rest is history. In all these years, the Pulsar has become a brand in itself. It is the most loved and affordable Sports Bike series in India. The Pulsar Maniacs love their Pulsar Motorcycles. In 2015, a new chapter started in Motoring history as Bajaj Auto launched the Pulsar RS 200. The Pulsar RS 200 is the Flagship Pulsar Motorcycle in India and recently it was updated to meet BS6 emission norms. As we have already mentioned before, the Pulsar RS 200 was first launched in the year 2015 and it became an instant hit. It was the first and till now the only fully-faired Pulsar Motorcycle to be sold in the Indian market. The RS 200 is the flagship Pulsar Motorcycle but it sits below the Dominar range in Bajaj Auto's India line-up. If you wanna know, what does RS in the RS 200 mean, so it stands for Racing Sport.
2020 Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 BS6: Looks, Dimensions and Colour Options
The Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is undoubtedly the most stunning-looking Pulsar Motorcycle. Upfront, it gets twin projector headlamps with small LED DRLs. These DRLs are positioned just above the headlamps which tend to appear as the eyebrow of the motorcycle. Then, it gets a small tinted visor and the rear-view mirrors are mounted on the body panels. Coming to the side profile, you can see that the chunky fairing of the motorcycle does look really good. It has sharp cuts and creases which extend all the way till the rear. The rear-section is raised a bit higher and it has no grabrails at all. At the rear, it gets crystalline LED taillamps and it also gets LED indicators.

Talking about dimensions, so the Pulsar RS 200 measures 1999 mm in length, 765 mm in width and 1114 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1345 mm and the saddle height (seat-height) stands at 810 mm. This fully-faired motorcycle weighs around 166 kilograms and it has a fuel tank capacity of 13-litres. The RS 200 has a minimum ground clearance of 157 mm which is good by sports bike's standards. The new Pulsar RS 200 BS6 is available in three colour variants - Graphite Black, Racing Red and Racing Blue.
2020 Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 BS6: Engine, Transmission and Mileage
The new 2020 Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is powered by a BS6-compliant 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, DTS-i engine. This motor churns out 24.5 PS of power at 9750 RPM and 18.7 Nm of peak torque at 8000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Pulsar RS 200 BS6 is supremely fast and it has a claimed top speed of 140.8 kmph. Moreover, it returns a mileage of around 35-40 kmpl in real-world conditions.

2020 Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 BS6: Tyres, Brakes and Features
The Pulsar RS 200 is based on a Perimeter Frame for sharp and agile handling. It gets telescopic forks at the front and a nitrox-gas-charged mono-shock absorber at the rear. The motorcycle runs on 17-inch tubeless tyres. The front tyre measures 100/80-17 while the rear one is a 130/70 section 17-inch unit. The motorcycle gets petal disc brakes at both the ends. At the front, it gets a 300 mm disc while at the rear one is a 270 mm unit. It gets dual-channel ABS as standard as an additional safety aid. The Pulsar RS 200 gets a semi-analogue semi-digital instrument cluster. The tachometer is analogue while the other information are displayed digitally.

The 2020 Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 BS6 is priced at Rs. 1,49,466, Ex-showroom Delhi. It rivals other fully-faired motorcycles which include the Yamaha R15 V3, Suzuki Gixxer SF, KTM RC 200, Hero Xtreme 200S, etc. Talking about the verdict, so if you are a Pulsar Fanboy and want a fully-faired motorcycle with punchy performance, striking looks, agile handling and good features, then you should definitely consider buying the Pulsar RS 200 BS6.
