The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has always been a handsome motorcycle. It was first launched in the year 2018 and with the recent BS6 update, it has got even better. The Apache RTR 160 4V BS6 gets a new all-LED headlamp. It also gets new twin LED DRLs which seem to look like the eye-brows of this motorcycle. It also gets new attractive graphics on the body panels that give it a sporty appeal. The side profile of this motorcycle has a very sharp aerodynamic stance and it also gets an engine cowl. At the rear, it gets a LED taillamp. All in all, the Apache 160 4V BS6 looks stunning. It is available in three colour options - Racing Red, Metallic Blue and Knight Black.

2020 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V BS6: Engine, Transmission and Mileage
The new 2020 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is powered by a new BS6-compliant 159.7cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. This motor churns out 16.02 PS of power at 8250 RPM and 14.12 Nm of peak torque at 7250 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Just like other BS6 Apaches, the new Apache 160 4V BS6 also gets TVS' Race-tuned (RT-FI) fuel-injection technology for enhanced power delivery and fuel economy. The motorcycle delivers around 40-45 kmpl of mileage in a real-world scenario. Moreover, it also gets GTT or Glide Through Technology feature for low-speed urban riding that offers an extremely smooth and controlled riding experience.

2020 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V BS6: Tyres, Brakes and Features
The Apache RTR 160 4V sits on a Double Cradle Split Synchro STIFF frame. For suspension duties, the motorcycle gets telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. The braking duties are performed by petal disc brakes at both the ends. At the front, it gets a 270 mm disc while at the rear, one can choose between a 200 mm disc or a 130 mm drum unit. It also gets a single-channel ABS as standard as an additional safety aid. The motorcycle runs on 17-inch tubeless tyres. The front tyre measures 90/90-17 while the rear one is a 110/80-17 unit for the drum brake model and 130/70 section 17-inch unit for the disc variant. Talking about features, the Apache 160 4V gets an all-digital instrument cluster loaded with a ton of statistics.

The new 2020 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V BS6 is available in two variants - Front Disc and Dual Disc. The Front Disc variant is priced at Rs. 1,04,000 while the Dual Disc variant currently retails at Rs. 1,07,050. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. It rivals against the Hero Xtreme 160R, Yamaha FZ & FZ-S, Bajaj Pulsar NS 160, Suzuki Gixxer and the Honda X-Blade 160. Finally, talking about the verdict, so if you want an all-rounder 160cc motorcycle, one that offers punchy performance, best-in-class features, great hardware and is affordable too, then you should definitely consider buying the new 2020 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V BS6.
