KTM RC 200 is a very popular motorcycle in the Indian market. The RC 200 is an entry-level supersport motorcycle from the house of the Austrian two-wheeler maker. Now, it's been quite a while that the RC 200 has not received any significant upgrades and we believe that's gonna now happen soon. The upcoming all-new 2021 KTM RC 200 has been recently spied on test in India hinting at its imminent launch. Here are all the details about it.
The test mule of the motorcycle was completely camouflaged but keen bike enthusiasts can easily recognize that it's the new-gen KTM RC motorcycles. The test mule of the upcoming 2021 KTM RC 200 was spied on the outskirts of Pune in Maharashtra. Now, talking about the changes in the new RC 200, so it will get an all-new design and that can be seen in this image. The new KTM RC 200 will get a halogen headlamp with LED DRLs, the fairings have been re-designed, it gets a sharper rear-end and a bit relaxed ergonomics.

The mechanicals of the motorcycle will remain the same as before. The new RC 200 will still be powered by the BS6 compliant 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor will churn out around 25 PS of maximum power at 10000 RPM and 19.5 Nm of peak torque at 8000 RPM. The engine will come mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. For suspension duties, it will get USD forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. The braking duties will be performed by disc brakes at both the ends.

The new-gen KTM RC 200 might get dual-channel ABS and a newly updated instrument cluster. Talking about the launch timeline and price, so the new 2021 KTM RC 200 is expected to be launched by mid-2021. Also, the new-gen RC 200 is expected to be priced around Rs. 2.15 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. It will be followed by the launch of the new-gen RC 125 and RC 390 too.
