Regarding the XL6 CNG, it is only available in the Zeta model for Rs 12.24 lakh (ex-showroom) for customers looking for a premium MPV. The new XL6 CNG comes with a similar set of features and configurations as the petrol variant. The difference it gets is in the boot with the addition of the CNG cylinder and the engine specifications. In CNG mode, the powertrain produces 87 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque. In petrol mode, it can produce 99 bhp and 136 Nm of maximum torque. This engine also comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. The XL6 CNG's maker claims that it has a fuel economy of 26.32 km/kg.

The XL6 CNG only comes in the base model, therefore it is devoid of features like a rear parking camera, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, UV glass, ventilated seats, leatherette seats, and a few more. CNG stickers are applied to the front and rear windscreens of the vehicle to identify it as a CNG vehicle from the outside. The CNG refilling valve and the petrol refill area are both located in the fuel filling compartment.

On the inside, the CNG & petrol switchover button, which is located close to the traction control button, is a new addition to the interior. Additionally, individual CNG and petrol fuel gauge now available in the instrument cluster. Due to the CNG cylinder's availability, the MPV's boot space has been reduced. The owner must now fold the last row in order to fit a few suitcases.
