Here's How The Upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross Could Look - Render Images

Toyota is all set to do the global debut of the new generation of Innova. The name of the upcoming MPV iteration is Innova Hycross. The Innova Hycross will be longer than the current Innova and incorporate new features as well as a new design language. A patent image of the MPV's structure was recently leaked online, and test mules for the vehicle have been observed numerous times. Now, fresh renderings of the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross have appeared online, showcasing the MPV's exterior design. Andrew Guerrero created the renderings.

Upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross

The upcoming Hycross will be based on typical Toyota MPVs like the Avanza, according to render photos. Innova Hycross will have larger dimensions than the Innova of the current generation. Like all current Toyotas, the front fascia will have a trapezoidal grille. A new sleek headlight is tastefully extended till the fender, large air dams, and faux silver skid plates are also added to the front profile. The upcoming MPV's aggressive appearance is definitely enhanced by this, and the design renders are quite impressive.

When viewed from the side, it has angular wheel arches similar to the brand's RAV4 SUV. The cabin will be airy, as seen by the big glass area, and the last row's quarter glass has a triangular shape that is almost identical to that of the Avanza. To contrast, the MPV's overall appearance, the back windscreen, tail lamp, and tailgate design have all been updated. The MPV's shape resembles a crossover.

Malvin WS, a different artist, created a new render based on the patent image that was leaked a few days ago. The designer has also designed the car similar to Andrew Guerrero and showed it in a dual-tone colour with a panoramic sunroof.

Upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross Engine Specifications

A new 2.0-liter hybrid petrol engine will handle the powertrain responsibilities. This engine will churn around 190 bhp of power. The hybrid powertrain option will be available with an e-CVT or automatic transmission. Another big change coming in the new gen is the front-wheel drive drivetrain. Toyota will ditch the RWD drivetrain in the new generation.

Verdict: The current generation of the Innova is a well-known vehicle in the commercial fleet market, but the upcoming Innova Hycross will be targeted at private buyers. In comparison to the current gen Innova the new Innova Hycross will be more expensive. Additionally, the hybrid powertrain makes it a potential option for mile churners.
